PRINCIPAL: ROSALIA NDAMBUKI
Ms. Rosalia first learnt about Education for Sustainable Development from the Center of Mathematics Science and Technology in East Africa (CEMASTEA). CEMASTEA is one of the ESD model training centers in Kenya. The other is the Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI) which has taken time to coach and mentor Nairobi West Nursery school to a level of being a model center in Nairobi.
Ms. Rosalia enjoys staying close to her learners of age 3-5.
She inovatively prepares learning aids using waste by employing the Reuse ESD principal.
She has taught her learners to be innovative too. The young children can explain science processes without difficulty while referring to the features they prepared with their teachers.
